Jews respect to their God is evident in the way they avoid pronounce the Divine name. They consider God's name too holy to be spoken by a human being. The name is written, in Hebrew letters, YHWH (Hebrew has no vowels). It is pronounced as Yahweh (ya-way). When Jews come across the name while reading they say "the Lord".
God is believed to be the one and only God. Judaisms basic theological statement, Shema, we hear that God is the only God: "Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone" (Deuteronomy 6:4, Tanakh). This is recited at least twice daily in morning and evening prayers.
